The Abbey Lodge Inn – Woodhall Spa

Went to friends surprise birthday lunch party. Food was excellent staff were great and service was first class.

Excellent food a friendly service Greeted by a very friendly chap who we later found out was the landlord, asked for our name and then replied oh yes your with a dog, gave us a choice of tables to sit at. Orders for drinks and food taken at the table by a young lad who was also very friendly and efficient, good Choice of food on the menu and also some specials, nice to see that everything on the menu was available, food arrived in a good time and was very delicious and served by a young lady who again was very friendly

Attended this venue today for a sunday dinner and also a birthday celebration. The team was very accommodating and professional. The food was very tasty full of favour and a very generous amount of meat. will definitely return to try something different. thank you 😊

We had a very nice meal here on 17th Sept 2025. At first, we thought the service was slow, but when the food arrived, we came to realise that it had just been cooked completely fresh. The food was excellent. Portions were large, too, which was a change from where we live. Prices were great, and the service from the staff was without fault. The building itself, like so many in Lincolnshire, has a history, giving it a very evocative atmosphere. Brilliant.

Excellent menu and choice, consistent standard of food. Friendly staff and plenty of parking. Well worth a visit.

Great good, great service We were a large family party of 11. We had our own little area just off the main bar, all ready for us on arrival. We had ordered quite a range of different dishes, after a short wait all arrived hot and within a minute or so all together. All the food was delicious, home cooked and nicely presented. The prices very reasonable too. Staff were amazing. Well done. Would definitely return if we are in the area!

Lovely pub 20 mins from tattershall lakes,food is soooo good n reasonably priced,staff are great.im 60 years old and was the youngest patron by far,very very busy,.good seating and nice cosy atmosphear.

Amazing food and service We have been visiting woodhall spa this weekend with friends.I booked this pub based on the reviews and we have not been disappointed. 3 separate days we have eaten here and the 4 of us can honestly say the food and service in this pub is the best we have had for a very long time.nothing is to much trouble.Service has been super quick each time.The food has been wonderful.we will be back next time we are staying here again.Honestly Please visit this pub when staying in the town,you won't be disappointed.

This is a fabulous place to go too . The food 10/10 service and staff were amazing people and Chris the landlord absolutely Gent they were rushed off their feet and packed but still made room for us and Atmosphere brilliant. Fantastic value

Really nice friendly pub.

It's been about 13 years since we visited this pub and its welcome hasn't changed. Friendly staff and landlord make the visit a pleasant experience. Didn't eat there this time around but thoroughly enjoyed a lunchtime drink here following a long walk.

We booked an early evening meal, as it was my husband's birthday. We hadn't been there before, so thought we'd give it a try. The menu is good, plenty of choice. Reasonably priced. There was also a lower cost for some sweets, if you had a half serving, which suited us, as you don't really need a large sweet, after a meal. The staff were all friendly, and my husband even got a free drink, with it being his birthday! Lovely atmosphere, even most of the guests were friendly and said hello. We will definitely go there again, and we would recommend it to others.

Had a stop over for the night in the motorhome .food . service. And the landlord and his wife Very friendly.will be back . cheers Ray

Lovely food here Enjoyed a lovely evening meal with family here. Well worth a visit. 2nd time l we have eaten here and definately would again on our next visit

Mum and daughter time Went for Sunday lunch and it was beautiful. We had sirloin beef roast potatoes, mashed potatoes. Yorkshire pudding. five different vegetables in a separate bowl all so gravy in gravy bowl absolutely perfect. Service from everybody was very good. Will definitely be returning.

Homemade delicious food, generous portions. Typical English pub vibe. Really enjoyed would come again.

Easily 11 out of 10 it's that good Easily 11 out of 10 this Inn is top quality. Straight away a warm friendly welcome, Inside it's a classic Inn. The food is outstandingly good proper home cooked tasty quality delicious and the menu is great. The staff are extremely friendly relax and full of smiles. Loads of seating options and full of charm. Could tell this Inn is great as locals use it and all as warm and friendly as the staff/owner's

Fish pie was excellent... Asked for some online recommendations and this was given by a few....great choice, lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very reasonably priced. We were visiting Woodhall Spa for the evening but will definitely travel over to eat here again!

Best chips ever We went back to The Abbey Lodge, we’ve never had a bad meal. A wide menu which is well presented and service excellent. My father in law’s 95th birthday treat; he said they were the best chips he has ever had.
